According to Nintendo Life, journalist Felipe Lima discovered a listing for a Take-Two Interactive Nintendo Switch 2 game on Fnac, which included specific dimensions. If these measurements are accurate, the Nintendo Switch 2 game boxes will be slightly larger than those of the original Switch.

A Reddit user, HertzBurst, further illustrated this by posting a side-by-side comparison of the two box sizes. The new dimensions listed are 5.1 inches by 7.7 inches (13 cm by 19.5 cm). While this makes the Switch 2 cases a bit larger than the current Switch game cases, they remain significantly smaller than those used for Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5 games. Although not officially confirmed, it's plausible that retailers would receive such details early to prepare for stock displays.
