Nintendo emphasized that the hardware Genki claimed to be the Switch 2 was never provided by them, debunking the accessory maker's claims of possessing a "real" Switch 2 and knowing its release date.

Genki, known for their range of electronics and video game console accessories, including controllers, portable SSDs, and chargers, made a bold statement at the recent CES 2025 by showcasing what they purported to be a 3D-printed model of the much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. They even dedicated a special section on their website to Switch 2 accessories, featuring a highly detailed animated mock-up of the console.

Despite the excitement stirred by Genki, Nintendo has remained tight-lipped about the Switch 2, with no major announcements made yet.
