Netflix, in collaboration with Supercell, has announced an exciting new venture that will bring the popular Clash video game franchise to the small screen. This upcoming animated series, set in the worlds of *Clash of Clans* and *Clash Royale*, is already in pre-production and promises to amplify the chaotic fun of the games. According to a press release from Netflix, the series will follow the adventures of a determined Barbarian who finds himself in over his head. He must rally a group of misfits to defend their village and navigate the comically absurd politics of war.

The official Clash of Clans social media accounts joined in the excitement, posting: "Sound the horns, raise the banners, and reinforce your village walls—Clash is invading @Netflix! We’re making a new animated series starring your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his high-pitched, hog-riding friends. Charge!" This announcement was accompanied by a playful teaser video featuring the game's developers announcing the series via a group FaceTime call.

John Derderian, VP of Animation at Netflix, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, "Clash has been a global gaming phenomenon for over a decade—filled with humor, action, and unforgettable characters perfect for an animated series adaptation." He further highlighted the collaboration with Supercell's team, including Fletcher Moules and Ron Weiner, to bring the spirit and chaos of the Clash world to life in a fresh way. "We can’t wait for fans - old and new - to experience the mayhem," Derderian added.

Although the series is still in pre-production and a release date hasn't been announced yet, Netflix has a strong track record of turning video games into engaging shows and movies. Successful adaptations like *Arcane* from *League of Legends* and *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners* from *Cyberpunk 2077* have set high expectations. Other notable adaptations in Netflix's lineup include *Resident Evil*, *Tekken: Bloodline*, *Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft*, *Dragon's Dogma*, *Dragon Age: Absolution*, and *Castlevania*, showcasing the streamer's commitment to this genre.
