Netflix is set to launch an exciting tie-in game for their upcoming sci-fi adventure film, *The Electric State*. The game, titled *The Electric State: Kid Cosmo*, is a puzzle game with a retro-futuristic twist and is scheduled for release on March 18th, just four days after the film premieres on Netflix on March 14th. Directed by the acclaimed Russo brothers, the movie features stars like Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt and follows a post-apocalyptic road trip across an alternate 1990s America filled with giant robots.

It’s Not Going to be a Simple Adaptation of the Movie

*The Electric State: Kid Cosmo* isn't just a direct adaptation of the film; it serves as a prequel, delving into the childhoods of two central characters, Chris and Michelle. Developed by BUCK Games, known for their successful roguelite puzzle game *Let's! Revolution!* on Steam, in collaboration with AGBO, the game promises robust gameplay.

Set in Wichita, Kansas, in 1985, *Kid Cosmo* takes players through a series of puzzle adventures reminiscent of the *WarioWare* series but infused with an '80s aesthetic. Over five years, players will follow Chris and Michelle's journey, collecting modules, repairing Kid Cosmo's ship, and solving puzzles to uncover the mysteries of their world. The Electric State: Kid Cosmo Follows Netflix’s Trend of Spin-Offs

This game aligns with Netflix's strategy of expanding its gaming catalogue with interactive spin-offs. From *Stranger Things: Puzzle Tales* and *Too Hot to Handle Series* to *Money Heist: Ultimate Choice* and *Squid Game: Unleashed*, Netflix continues to grow its gaming offerings. If you're a Netflix subscriber, explore their games on the Google Play Store. And don't miss our next feature on merging with Sanrio characters in the new game *Hello Kitty My Dream Store*.
