Mother Nature: EcoDash Is an Endless Runner Where You Tackle Air Pollution and Save Animals

Feb 26,25

Mother Nature: EcoDash, a new endless runner for Android, tackles environmental pollution head-on. Developed by BOM (Birmingham Open Media), a UK-based arts organization, this game is a unique collaboration. Eleven to eighteen-year-old girls from Powered by CAN, a youth project, significantly contributed to the game's design, influencing everything from its art style to its mechanics.

What Makes Mother Nature: EcoDash Stand Out?

Players control Mother Nature, a Black female scientist, tasked with purifying the city and rescuing animals from the clutches of Smog, the game's villainous polluter. Gameplay involves outrunning pollution, collecting air purifiers, and managing a smog meter to avoid being engulfed by toxic clouds. Beyond the standard running and jumping, players undertake rescue missions, finding and freeing endangered animals before releasing them in a rainforest sanctuary.

BOM's aim was to present complex environmental issues like climate change and air pollution in a fun and accessible manner. The game features various power-ups, shields, and bonus items to aid players in their mission.

Mother Nature: EcoDash offers a simple yet impactful experience. Download it from the Google Play Store to join the fight for a cleaner planet.
