Updated January 14th, 2025, by Usama Ali: Swap Packs mitigate the frustration of duplicate stickers. The ability to "swap" or "redraw" stickers (up to three times per pack) significantly improves the odds of completing sticker collections. This guide has been updated to include additional methods for acquiring Swap Packs.

How Monopoly GO Swap Packs Work

Swap Packs enable players to exchange, or "redraw," stickers within the pack. This increases the chances of acquiring rare and valuable stickers, accelerating album completion.

Each Swap Pack contains four stickers: typically one five-star, two four-star, and one three-star. Before claiming, players can swap any sticker for a random replacement of the same rarity. This is ideal for eliminating duplicates and improving the overall quality of the pack's contents.

Swapping is random; there's no guarantee of a superior sticker. However, it provides greater control over the collection process. Remember, trading duplicates with friends remains a viable option for acquiring missing stickers.

Acquiring More Swap Packs in Monopoly GO

Initially introduced as a milestone reward in Monopoly GO's first Peg-E Sticker Drop, Swap Packs are now obtainable through several avenues:

The Gold Vault

The Gold Vault, accessible in the Sticker for Rewards section, represents the highest-tier reward. While previously costing 1,000 Stars, Scopely reduced the price to 700 Stars. Stars are earned by collecting duplicate stickers; each duplicate, regardless of rarity, contributes a set number of Stars.

The Gold Vault has a 24-hour cooldown. Rewards include:

• 500 Dice
• One Blue Sticker Pack (four stickers, one guaranteed 4-star)
• One Purple Sticker Pack (six stickers, one guaranteed 5-star)
• One Swap Pack

Minigames

Various minigames—including Peg-E games, Treasure Hunts, and Partner Events—occasionally offer Swap Packs as milestone rewards. Successfully completing challenges or reaching specific milestones within these minigames increases the chances of earning Swap Packs. Active participation in all available minigames is recommended.
