Modders have restored content cut from Bloodborne and made it work on PC

The Bloodborne Magnum Opus mod, now available for PC, breathes new life into the game by restoring cut content, including multiple simultaneous boss encounters. While some texture and animation issues persist, enemy functionality remains intact.

Beyond content restoration, Magnum Opus significantly alters the original Bloodborne experience. This includes the reinstatement of certain weapons and armor sets, as well as enemy relocation. The accompanying video showcases several of these new boss encounters.

While an official PC port was nearly a reality last August, with hints from Hidetaka Miyazaki himself, no formal announcement has been made. This leaves PC players relying on emulators and workarounds to experience the game.

The emergence of the PS4 emulator has been a game-changer. Modders quickly gained access to the character editor, though initial gameplay proved elusive. That hurdle has now been overcome. While online videos demonstrate Bloodborne running on PC, perfection remains a work in progress.
