Military Strategy Game Warpath Launches a Navy Update with 100 New Ships

Jan 05,25

Lilith Games' military strategy MMO, Warpath, receives a massive naval update, introducing a new Naval Force system with nearly 100 meticulously detailed and realistic ships.

Warpath's Naval Update Deployed

Take command of powerful vessels like the Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier for long-range aerial assaults, the stealthy Project 971 Submarine for surprise underwater attacks, or the Arleigh Burke-Class Destroyer, equipped with precision-guided missiles. Each ship faithfully replicates its real-world counterpart's combat capabilities.

The Naval Force is categorized into six distinct combat classes:

  • Submarines: Masters of stealth, utilizing their Silent Running ability.
  • Anti-Submarine Frigates: Swift hunters, specifically designed to counter submarines.
  • Aircraft Carriers: Long-range powerhouses, launching devastating air strikes.
  • Anti-Aircraft Destroyers: Guardians of the skies, capable of neutralizing aerial and surface threats.
  • Armored Destroyers: Heavily armored, slow-moving behemoths that absorb significant damage.
  • Guided Missile Destroyers: Long-range specialists, ideal for targeting enemy bases from a distance.

Lilith Games has implemented strategic counterplay between ship types; submarines can ambush carriers, but risk being detected by frigates. Armored Destroyers provide crucial frontline defense while missile destroyers offer devastating long-range firepower.

Additional Enhancements

Naval combat has been refined, with adjustments to attack and defense values for a more tactical experience. Ships can now fire while moving. Exclusive in-game events will run throughout January.
