Microsoft has announced an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles arriving in the first half of April 2025, featuring a mix of first-party and third-party games that promise to keep subscribers engaged. The month kicks off with a bang, as detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post, with the addition of several major titles starting April 3.

The first wave of games includes Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC), available to all tiers, alongside All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X|S), and Wargroove 2 (Console), which will join Game Pass Standard. This initial block offers a diverse range of gaming experiences to keep Xbox fans entertained throughout the month. However, the excitement doesn't stop there; just five days later on April 8, South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) will be available to all Game Pass subscribers.

South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is set to be one of Xbox's most anticipated releases of the year. This Deep South-set folklore adventure invites players to explore the mythos and confront mysterious creatures, learning to harness an ancient power to overcome obstacles and confront the pain haunting their hometown. Microsoft's official description highlights its potential to bring a unique and immersive experience to Game Pass subscribers.

The following days will see the addition of more titles, including Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on April 9 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, followed by Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on April 10 for the same tiers. Rounding out the first wave of releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) will join Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 15.

In addition to the new games, Xbox Game Pass perks are also being refreshed for the first half of April 2025. Highlights include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and an anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.

While new titles are being added, some games will be leaving Game Pass on April 15. Subscribers interested in these titles should take note, as they will lose access to Botany Manor, Coral Island, Harold Halibut, Homestead Arcana, Kona, Orcs Must Die! 3, and Turbo Golf Racing. Microsoft offers a 20% discount for members looking to purchase these games before they exit the service.
