Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls - Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes

NetEase Games has unveiled exciting details for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman debut on launch day, with the Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray six to seven weeks later.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," also await players.

Balance Adjustments:

This update also addresses balance concerns. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant forces, receive nerfs to curb their power, particularly in higher-ranked matches. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom are receiving buffs to enhance their effectiveness in aggressive playstyles. Further buffs are slated for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic use of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger will also see improvements to their viability in diverse team compositions. Finally, adjustments are coming to Jeff the Land Shark, addressing inconsistencies between his early warning indicators and ultimate attack hitbox. While his ultimate's power has been a point of discussion, no significant changes to it have been announced.

NetEase Games has yet to comment on potential alterations to the Seasonal Bonus feature, a point of contention among players. The season promises a significant influx of new content and adjustments, generating considerable anticipation within the community.
