Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls arrives, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a brand-new battle pass.
A recent gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's abilities. She's a Strategist class character, utilizing attacks that damage foes while simultaneously healing allies. Her kit includes a knockback, invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a shield for protecting teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, providing a tactical advantage against ranged attackers.
The update also introduces Mister Fantastic, though Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that seasons will run for roughly three months.
Mister Fantastic's gameplay was also previewed, highlighting his versatility as a Duelist with surprising durability, blending Duelist and Vanguard characteristics.
While many anticipate the Fantastic Four's arrival, some fans expressed disappointment over Blade's absence. Despite data leaks suggesting his inclusion, and Dracula's confirmation as Season 1's antagonist, Blade's debut will have to wait. Despite this, excitement remains high for the upcoming content.
