LEGO has announced nine new Star Wars sets, set to release on May 1, 2025, as part of Disney's expansive May the 4th (Star Wars Day) celebration. Each year, LEGO marks the occasion with a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship, following Luke's X-Wing Starfighter in 2023 and the TIE Interceptor in 2024.

This year’s highlight is Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, previously known as Slave I (available at the LEGO Store). The name change, initiated by Disney in 2021 (confirmed by LEGO), reflects a move away from controversial imagery. The updated name appears permanent.

The last major LEGO version of this starship, released in 2019 for the 20th anniversary with 1007 pieces, was based on Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The new 2970-piece set, inspired by Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, nearly triples the piece count and measures 7.5 inches high, 17.5 inches long, and 15.5 inches wide.
