The Grey Heron can be found in Wakasa, in the Lake Suigetsu area, during winter daytime. Head to the cluster of islands west of Lake Suigetsu. Approach cautiously on foot to avoid scaring the heron. Locate the Sumi-E opportunity, crouch, and move slowly to complete the painting.

Legendary Macaque – All Seasons, Nighttime

Travel to the Yamashiro region and find the Little Leaf Glade sub-region. Locate the Sarumaru Shrine near the mountains. Wait for nighttime and climb the stairs to the top, where you'll find the three wise monkeys. Capture them with your Sumi-E painting.

Legendary Silver Fox – Autumn, Nighttime

To find the legendary Silver Fox Sumi-E, travel to the Kii region during autumn nighttime. Head to the Nakahechi Route sub-region and visit the Kamimisu Inari Shrine, known for its fox statues. Approach the cliff's edge to find the Silver Fox and capture its image with your painting.

Legendary Deer – Spring, Nighttime

Navigate to the Yamato region and the Yoshino sub-region during spring nighttime. Start from the Mountain Blossom Temple to the west and head east along the path to reach the Sakura Meadows. Climb the slopes to a clearing where you'll find the legendary Deer. Capture its beauty in your Sumi-E painting.
