Producer Noriaki Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, stated that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a polished, high-quality remake that meets fan expectations. While the game is already playable from start to finish, the development team is focusing on refining details and enhancing the overall quality.
Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but that timeline has shifted. The remake is now officially slated for next year and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
