InZOI's game director, Hyungjun "KJoon" Kim, has unveiled intriguing details about the game's paranormal elements. Players will gain limited control over ghosts, a mechanic interwoven with a karma system that tracks player actions and shapes their destiny, even beyond death.

Good deeds ensure a peaceful transition to the afterlife, while negative karma condemns players to an afterlife as a restless spirit. These ghosts must atone for their past actions to finally move on.

While ghost control is planned for a future update (currently unavailable in early access), the developer assures players that InZOI remains grounded in realistic gameplay, with paranormal elements playing a supporting role. However, the possibility of introducing additional unexplained phenomena in future updates remains open.
