Brok the InvestiGator is getting a festive spin-off! This free visual novel, clocking in at around an hour, offers a heartwarming Christmas prequel to the main game. Forget the beat 'em up action; this one's all about story.
In Brok Natal Tail Christmas, players delve into the world of Graff and Ott as they navigate a twisted version of Christmas, Natal Untail, in their city of Atlasia. With a little help from Brok, they discover the true meaning of the season.
This isn't a full-fledged game, but it's a charming detour into a new genre and showcases developer Cowcat's new Brokvn Engine. Considering it's free and a fun seasonal treat for Brok fans, its short length is easily forgiven. Cowcat's willingness to experiment with a new genre is commendable.
There's little downside to trying Brok Natal Tail Christmas. Unless you actively dislike visual novels, this unique take on the holiday season is worth a look.
