Warner Bros. Games has delighted Harry Potter fans with a magical announcement: Hogwarts Legacy is getting mod support, launching this Thursday! This exciting feature will be exclusive to PC players via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and is a key part of an upcoming patch.

The update includes the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a powerful toolkit enabling players to craft their own dungeons, quests, and even character edits. The renowned modding platform, CurseForge, will host and manage these user-created mods, ensuring a safe and organized experience. The game will also integrate a dedicated mod manager, simplifying the process of discovering and installing new content.

Several pre-approved mods will be available on launch day, including the thrilling "Dungeon of Doom," promising challenging combat encounters and hidden secrets. However, it's important to note that accessing mods requires linking your Hogwarts Legacy account to a WB Games account.

Beyond modding, the patch introduces further character customization options, such as fresh hairstyles and outfits. The developers showcased examples of these in a recent trailer.

Meanwhile, development on a second Hogwarts Legacy adventure is already underway, highlighting Warner Bros. Discovery's commitment to the franchise as a key priority for years to come.
