Heroes United: Fight x3: A Surprisingly Familiar 2D RPG

Heroes United: Fight x3 is a straightforward 2D hero-collecting RPG. You assemble a team of diverse characters and battle enemies and bosses. While the core gameplay isn't groundbreaking, it's the marketing that's truly remarkable.

A quick look at the game's social media and website reveals some strikingly familiar faces. Characters bearing a suspicious resemblance to Goku, Doraemon, and Tanjiro Kamado are prominently featured. Let's just say the likelihood of these appearances being officially licensed is... slim. It's a brazen display of copyright disregard, a refreshing throwback to the "good old days" of blatant rip-offs.

The audacity is almost charming. It's a curious spectacle, like witnessing a fish attempting its first clumsy steps on land. While ethically questionable, the blatant nature of the rip-offs is oddly comforting, a rare sight in recent years.

This begs the question: Why settle for unlicensed imitations when there are genuinely excellent mobile games available? Check out our top five new mobile games this week, or delve into Stephen's review of Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago – a game that boasts superior gameplay and a more memorable title.
