Hasbro Unveils Marvel vs. Capcom Figures
Hasbro is taking Marvel Legends collectors on a nostalgic journey with a fresh wave of Marvel Gamerverse action figures, drawing inspiration from the iconic Marvel vs. Capcom video game series.

The figures will be available as two-packs and single releases, varying based on the character's size. The complete Marvel vs. Capcom lineup includes:

While Hasbro has produced many of these characters before in the Marvel Legends line (except for Gargantos), these new figures boast enhanced designs that capture the dynamic, pixel-art style of the classic games. Wolverine features exaggerated claws and mask details, and Venom sports his signature blue color scheme from the games. The Psylocke figure, in particular, highlights the impressive articulation achievable with this new series.
Naturally, this wave doesn't include every character from the Marvel vs. Capcom games, but collectors can supplement their displays with previous Marvel Legends releases. The line has already covered even more obscure characters like Marrow and Blackheart. The greater challenge lies in building the Capcom side of the roster. For characters like Ryu and Chun-Li, collectors might consider Jada Toys' excellent Street Fighter line.

Pre-orders for The Fantastic Four: First Steps figures launch on the Hasbro Pulse website and other retailers on Friday, May 30 at 10 AM PT, with a Summer 2025 release planned. Pre-orders for the Marvel Gamerverse figures will open throughout June, targeting a Fall 2025 release.
