A promotional image for the Lenovo Legion Go S suggested that the game might be coming to Steam, but Lenovo clarified that the image was merely a mockup design, not a confirmation of an upcoming release. This clarification came directly from Lenovo's senior community manager, Ben Green, who succinctly dismissed the speculation with a "No lol" when asked if it was a leak for the Xbox Developer Direct event. Despite the image still being available on Lenovo's site, Green mentioned that it had been forwarded to their design team for review.

Halo 5: Guardians stands out as the only mainline Halo game yet to be released on PC, following the successful launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on the platform.
