Hades 2 is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date remains under wraps, developer Supergiant has confirmed that the eagerly awaited sequel will debut simultaneously on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch later this year.

The announcement that Hades 2 would be available on the enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 was first teased during last week's Nintendo Direct. Supergiant has since clarified that the game will not only be available on both Switch models but will also enjoy a period of exclusivity on Nintendo's consoles.

"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team announced via X/Twitter.

Currently, there's no information on when Hades 2 might become available on other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
