"Guide to Studying Historical Displays in Sims 4's Blast From the Past Event"
Week 2 of the Blast from the Past event in *The Sims 4* is in full swing, with players eagerly exploring the map to unravel the event's mystery. However, a seemingly simple task is proving to be a hurdle for many: studying a Historical Display. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to study a Historical Display in *The Sims 4*.
Where To Find a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event
One of the quests in Blast from the Past Week 2 requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. Long-time players of *The Sims 4* likely know where to find their local museum, but new players should open their map and look for a building marked with an icon featuring pillars. Among the four default museums, the most convenient ones to visit are Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs, as they are close to other tasks in the Blast from the Past event.
How To Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event
Once you've located and traveled to a museum, it's time to dive into the experience. In *The Sims 4*, both paintings and sculptures count as Historical Displays. Choose one that catches your eye and click on it. The game will prompt you to "View" the Historical Display, and you'll know you've completed the challenge when the Emit icon appears.
Despite the simplicity of the task, some players are encountering issues, primarily due to mods interfering with the "View" button functionality. Some have even tried removing all mods to progress through the event, but without success. Hopefully, EA is aware of this problem and is working on a fix. In the meantime, the best strategy is to try studying as many items as possible across different museums.
