After more than two years, fans of Grand Theft Auto V on PC have reason to celebrate: a major update is set to roll out on March 4, aligning the PC version closely with its console counterparts. This eagerly awaited update incorporates features from the native PS5 and Xbox Series versions that debuted in 2022. Best of all, it's completely free for current players, and your progress in both GTA Online and the Story Mode will seamlessly transfer over, requiring no extra steps on your part.

The bulk of the upgrade's enhancements are focused on GTA Online, introducing a wealth of content previously exclusive to console players. Additionally, the GTA+ subscription service will now be available to PC users, offering enticing perks like accelerated business profits. Rockstar Games is also stepping up its game with improved anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer playing field.
