Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Sunborn's Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG for PC and mobile, features gacha mechanics. A common question among players is whether the pity counter carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next. For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid banners ran concurrently. Pulling on either increased the pity counter for both. If you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to Ullrid and have a 50/50 chance of immediately obtaining Ullrid. This applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Any remaining pity on previous limited banners will carry over to the newest ones.

However, this pity system does not extend to the standard banner. You cannot build pity on the standard banner and then use it on a limited banner.

While hard pity is reached at 80 pulls, soft pity begins at 58. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances gradually improve until hard pity is reached at 80 pulls.

This clarifies the pity system in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game tips, including a reroll guide, tier list, and mailbox location, check out [The Escapist](insert link to The Escapist here if available).
