The current system struggles to provide equitable rerun opportunities. Even assuming a single new 5-star character per patch, the limited banner slots create a significant backlog. While the Chronicled Banner aimed to address this, its effectiveness remains debated, with some characters still facing lengthy delays between appearances (e.g., Shenhe's over 600-day wait). Until triple banners become a reality, extended wait times seem inevitable.

Wriothesley, a Cryo Catalyst introduced in Version 4.1, exemplifies this issue. The leak, originating from Flying Flame, suggests his return in Version 5.4.
