"FragPunk: New PC Multiplayer Shooter Launched"

Apr 16,25

FragPunk, the eagerly awaited multiplayer first-person shooter, has officially hit the PC gaming scene. Currently, it boasts a mixed rating of 67% on Steam, reflecting diverse early user feedback. At the heart of FragPunk's appeal are its intense 5v5 battles, distinguished by the innovative use of fragment-cards. These cards dynamically shift the rules of engagement mid-game, ensuring no two matches feel the same. "The cards can be combined, counteract one another, and add a new layer of tactical depth to the classic gameplay," the developers at Bad Guitar explain.

Players have 13 unique launchers to choose from, each equipped with special abilities that cater to both teamwork and solo play. Whether you're strategizing with your team or relying on your individual prowess during online matches, FragPunk offers a versatile gaming experience that keeps players engaged.

However, fans awaiting the console versions of FragPunk will have to wait a bit longer. Bad Guitar, the studio behind the game, announced an unexpected delay for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases just two days before the planned launch on March 6. Citing "unforeseen technical issues," the studio has postponed the console launch without a confirmed new release date but has committed to keeping the community informed as developments progress.
