FragPunk Console Launch Postponed Over Technical Glitches
The highly anticipated hero shooter, FragPunk, developed by Bad Guitar, has hit a snag with its console release. Initially set to debut on all platforms on March 6, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions have been postponed due to unforeseen technical issues. Just two days before the launch, the studio announced that console gamers would have to wait a bit longer. While a new release date for the console editions has not been set, Bad Guitar promises to keep the community informed on the progress.
To soften the blow, Bad Guitar has outlined a compensation plan for those who pre-ordered the game on consoles. Players will have the option to receive a refund, and they will also be awarded in-game bonuses, including credits and rewards from the first season, once the console versions finally launch.
On a brighter note, the PC version of FragPunk is still on track and will launch as originally planned on March 6. PC gamers can look forward to diving into the action without any delays.
