Tekken 8 Season 2: Anna Williams Arrives, Future DLC Unveiled, and Sales Soar Past 3 Million!
Bandai Namco has dropped a sizzling trailer for Tekken 8's Season 2, spotlighting the return of the iconic Anna Williams. The trailer showcases her updated moveset, stylish new costumes, and a captivating intro sequence—including a special cutscene if her sister, Nina, is the opponent.
Anna Williams will be the first Season 2 character, launching March 31st for Character Year 2 Pass holders. All other players can get their hands on her starting April 3rd.
Beyond Anna, the trailer hints at a thrilling roster of future content planned for 2025 and early 2026:
- Summer 2025: A brand-new fighter and a fresh arena.
- Fall 2025: A new combatant joins the fray.
- Winter 2025/2026: Another fighter and arena will expand the Tekken 8 experience.
In other exciting news, Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 has already surpassed 3 million copies sold! This impressive sales figure significantly outpaces the launch of its predecessor, which has accumulated over 12 million copies sold to date.
Tekken 8, released January 26th, 2024, is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
