The Animal Festival is an annual event, occurring on the 10th day of Winter. If you miss it one year, don't worry—it returns annually! This gives you plenty of time to prepare your animals for the big day.

How to Win the Animal Festival in Fields of Mistria

The main event lets you enter up to two animals: one small (chickens, ducks, rabbits, etc.) and one large (cows, alpacas, sheep, etc.). Remember, your animals must be fully grown adults to participate.

Entering the Contest

Head to the festival grounds and speak to Josephine. She'll direct you to two booths: one for large animals (Terithia) and one for small animals (Landen). Select your best contenders from the menus provided.

Josephine also offers valuable tips: a higher heart count for your animal significantly boosts your score (achieved through petting, feeding, and letting them out on sunny days). Rare coat colors also give you a competitive edge.
