Dive into the depths of Eorzea with your Free Company's submarine in Final Fantasy XIV! This guide details how to unlock and utilize this underwater exploration vessel.

Unlocking Your FC Submarine

First, ensure your Free Company (FC) is established and, ideally, has reached rank 6. This unlocks access to necessary vendors for Ceruleum Tanks. Reaching rank 6 is easily achieved through collaborative in-game activities such as dungeon clearing, leveling, crafting, and gathering.

Next, visit your FC's workshop. Interact with the schematic board to obtain the submersible recipe. Gather the required materials and craft the submarine using your FC's crafting log.

Finally, you'll need Dive Credits to embark on underwater voyages. These are purchased from Resident Caretaker NPCs in any housing district (Empyreum, Lavender Beds, The Mist, Shirogane, The Goblet). FC rank 6 is required, and each credit costs 10,000 Company Credits. Register your submarine at the voyage control panel within the FC workshop after acquiring Dive Credits.
