May 01,25

Tin Man Games has enriched the Fighting Fantasy Classics series with the addition of Eye of the Dragon, now available on digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you're a fan of old-school dungeon crawls, this game is a nostalgic journey back to classic adventures.

This Is Its Official Digital Debut!

Marking its first digital release since 2010, Eye of the Dragon was penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the Fighting Fantasy series. Originally released in 2005 during the Wizard Books reboot, this title traces its origins back to a mini-adventure from Dicing with Dragons. With this latest release, Eye of the Dragon proudly takes its place as the 19th entry in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.

The game plunges you into a monster-filled maze beneath Darkwood Forest, challenging you to survive and discover the Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. Your adventure begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger offers you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—all you need to do is drink a questionable potion that could potentially be fatal.

Navigating through the dungeon, you'll encounter dangers and rewards aplenty: deadly traps, magical artifacts, scattered jewels, and numerous creatures with sharp teeth. Along the way, you might even meet an imprisoned dwarf who could play a crucial role in your journey.

Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book

Tin Man Games has enhanced the digital version with numerous player-friendly features. You can choose from adjustable difficulty modes or opt for the Free Read mode to explore without engaging in combat. An auto-mapping feature ensures you never lose your way in the labyrinth, while unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet keep track of your stats and inventory.

Eye of the Dragon joins the ranks of other beloved titles in the series such as The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, and others like Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions.

Excitingly, Tin Man Games has more titles in development. Be sure to check out Fighting Fantasy Classics on the Google Play Store. And don't forget to catch up on our latest news about Pikmin Bloom’s Earth Day Event.
