How to Extract Items in R.E.P.O.
In the thrilling co-op horror game, R.E.P.O., your primary objective is simple yet perilous: retrieve valuable items and survive the onslaught of randomly spawning monsters. Success means riches—and the chance to upgrade your survival gear with hard-earned cash. But failure? Well, let's just say the menacing AI Taxman isn't known for his generosity.
Successfully extracting your valuable cargo involves locating and reaching the Extraction Point. Here, your carefully collected treasures are tallied, and the Taxman determines your reward, allowing you to head to the Service Station, hopefully flush with cash.
As you progress through R.E.P.O., the extraction process becomes second nature. What initially seems daunting quickly transforms into routine as you overcome more levels and monstrous encounters.
How to Extract in R.E.P.O.
Your first R.E.P.O. run features a single Extraction Point. However, as you advance to new locations, this number increases, with a maximum of four currently. A handy red number in the top right corner of your screen keeps track of the required drop-offs and your progress.

Initially, the Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck—a constant you can always rely on for your first haul. Subsequent drop-offs, however, become more challenging. After your first delivery, the Taxman's demands and the location of the next drop-off remain unknown. This is where your in-game map becomes invaluable.
Pressing "Tab" on your keyboard reveals unexplored areas. While not providing precise Extraction Point locations, the map aids in route planning and allows for coordinated team efforts, enabling players to cover more ground simultaneously.

The next Extraction Point's location becomes evident upon reaching its vicinity, either visually or audibly. Once located, press the large red button to initiate the evaluation. If you've collected enough, place your C.A.R.T. within the designated grey area to avoid losing items. Repeat these steps for subsequent Extraction Points.
After the final drop-off, you don't need to return the C.A.R.T. to the truck; a new one will appear at the next location. Mastering extraction is key to success in R.E.P.O.. Check out our other guides for more tips and tricks!
