After nearly three decades since its cinematic debut, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic, *Event Horizon*, is set to expand its universe with a gripping prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a five-issue comic book series that will delve into the chilling events preceding the film. This series promises to unveil the harrowing fate of the original crew aboard the Event Horizon ship.

Penned by Christian Ward, known for his work on *Batman: City of Madness*, and illustrated by Tristan Jones of *Aliens: Defiance* fame, *Dark Descent* will be brought to life with colors by Pip Martin (*That Texas Blood*). The series will feature stunning cover art by Ward, alongside Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
