A follow-up email containing a unique download code for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S test client will be sent on February 11th, 2025. The registration period, held on FromSoftware's website, ran from January 10th to January 20th, 2025. No further test dates have been announced.
The Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: A Technical Deep Dive
FromSoftware describes the network test as a crucial "preliminary verification" to assess online system performance under large-scale network load. This will help determine server capacity for the full game launch. The test runs from February 14th to 16th, 2025, offering five 3-hour sessions:
- Session 1: February 14th, 3 AM - 6 AM PT
- Session 2: February 14th, 7 PM - 10 PM PT
- Session 3: February 15th, 11 AM - 2 PM PT
- Session 4: February 16th, 3 AM - 6 AM PT

Reports indicate a surge in fraudulent activity. Malicious actors are sending fake Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test invites via Steam, redirecting users to phishing sites and compromising accounts. FromSoftware emphasizes that legitimate invitations are only distributed through their official website and social media channels.
Exploiting the excitement, scalpers are already attempting to sell supposedly "confirmed" test codes on various online marketplaces for exorbitant prices, ranging from $150 to $200, or even via auction. Remember, codes won't be available until February 11th.
