However, the game's release has been pushed back to June 10, 2025, as announced by developer Funcom. This decision comes after valuable feedback gathered from the ongoing Persistent Closed Beta, allowing the team additional time to refine the game further. For those eager to dive in early, purchasing the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition will grant access starting June 5, 2025.

The extra time will enable Funcom to implement crucial changes requested during the beta phase and to prepare for a large-scale beta weekend next month. This event will give even more players the chance to experience Dune: Awakening and provide feedback.

While the delay might be disappointing for some eager fans, Funcom is set to host a combat livestream today at 12pm ET/9am PT. This stream will delve into the game's PvP and PvE mechanics, archetypes, and skills, providing a deeper look into what players can expect.
