Dragonkin: Banished Launch Unleashes New Era
Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, currently in Steam Early Access. The early access version features a prologue and the first chapter, playable with three distinct heroes: Knight, Oracle, and Barbarian. Players will also encounter four Vermplings – cooperative companions – and utilize the innovative Bloodline Grid skill system. Endgame hunts and initial hub city upgrades are also included. A demo is available on Steam Next Fest until March 3, 2025.
A robust development schedule is planned. Spring updates will introduce new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update will be a significant one, adding multiplayer functionality alongside continued refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, players navigate a world tainted by ancient dragon blood. They'll guide a legendary warrior, battling monstrous creatures and confronting powerful Dragonlords. Character progression hinges on character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic Bloodline Grid for ability customization.
Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
