What is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?
This isn't the first re-release; the game originally debuted on the Wii in 2010 and later on the 3DS in 2013 (with eight exclusive levels). This HD version includes all original levels plus the additional 3DS content.
The game maintains its notoriously challenging gameplay. However, this release offers an easier mode (borrowed from the 3DS version) with extra hearts and helpful features for those seeking a less demanding experience.
Expect classic Donkey Kong gameplay: jumping, vine-swinging, barrel-blasting, banana collecting, and more. Two-player couch co-op is also available with Diddy Kong.
