While *Split Fiction* may seem like a straightforward and linear co-op adventure, it's packed with opportunities to explore beyond the main storyline through what the game refers to as Side Stories. Although these are optional, they offer some of the most memorable experiences in the game, including unique scenarios like turning into pigs or competing in a deadly game show. There's even an achievement, "Bookworms," tied to completing all of these Side Stories, making them a must-do for completionists. Here's your guide to uncovering all 12 Side Stories spread across Chapters 2 through 5.

How to Find All Side Stories in Split Fiction

In Chapters 2 through 5 of *Split Fiction*, you'll encounter a total of 12 different Side Stories, with three in each chapter. Here's how to find them all:

Legend of the Sandfish – You'll naturally encounter the first Side Story in Chapter 2 after completing the Rush Hour section. It's impossible to miss.

Farmlife – Located in Chapter 2's Streets of Neon section, this Side Story is found after you hop over a small barrier and before you take the elevators on the left.

Mountain Hike – The last Side Story in Chapter 2 can be found in the Big City Life section. Once you reach the Port-A-Pottys, have Mio hop into one, then use Zoe to throw her over to a ledge opposite them where there's a small ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder to access this Side Story.

Train Heist – In Chapter 3's Lord Evergreen section, you'll find this Side Story on a ledge while navigating water with a plank of wood. Mio and Zoe will need to wall run to reach it.

Gameshow – Located in the Walking Sticks of Doom section of Chapter 3, this Side Story is on a platform you reach after completing some minor platforming post the side-scrolling section.

Collapsing Star – The final Side Story in Chapter 3 is in the Halls of Ice section, found on the main path, making it impossible to miss as you navigate through the palace.

Kites – In Chapter 4's Toxic Tumblers section, you'll find this Side Story at the end of the long tube.

Moon Market – Found in the Test Chamber section of Chapter 4, this Side Story is on a ledge to the left after you open the door following the crane sequence. A bit of platforming will get you there.

Notebook – The last Side Story in Chapter 4, located in the Soaring Desperados section, can be accessed once you obtain the jetpack. Hover over to the left side of the room, avoiding the giant wheel, to find it.

Slopes of War – The first Side Story in Chapter 5 is in the Water Temple section. After hatching your dragons, you'll see a lever puzzle on the left after crossing the golden balls. Solve it to unlock this Side Story.

Space Escape – In Chapter 5's Craft Temple section, after defeating the dragon, launch Mio to a ledge using her glide and Zoe's roll. Have Mio drop a column for Zoe to climb to access this penultimate Side Story.

Birthday Cake – The final Side Story of *Split Fiction* is in Chapter 5's Treasure Temple section. Simply complete the soul puzzle, and you'll find it on your left.

Upon completing all 12 Side Stories, you'll automatically unlock the "Bookworms" achievement in *Split Fiction*.
