Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions combat Jas's "Zero" plan, a catastrophic threat to existence. The game's compelling narrative and unique mechanics create an immersive experience.

The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item, integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is just the first step; its true function unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it's the final item obtained before the final boss encounter. To acquire it:

  1. Progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum in the God Realm (accessible via the Communication Network).
  2. Within the Mirror of Order, confront God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack (90% health drain). Prepare Kina for substantial healing and consider Petrification Null gear for a smoother battle.
  3. Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Cherryl, utilizing Concentrate and Charge, also delivers significant damage.
  4. After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest on your right – this contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

Activating the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and completing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two being part of the main story:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).

Opening all three chests reveals a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies are enhanced, this shouldn't pose significant difficulty, especially with prior side quest completion. Using the Medal also unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
