Your journey to hunt down the Kabukimono begins in the Settsu region. Here, you'll meet the compassionate priest, Shin’nyo, who will entrust you with the mission to track these ronin and bring peace back to the area.

The Kabukimono are a group of flamboyant ronin who operate without regard for law or morality, causing havoc and harm wherever they go. It falls upon the assassins to intervene and restore tranquility to the region.

There are eight distinct targets within the Kabukimono faction that you need to eliminate.

How and Where to Find All Kabukimono Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Assassin’s Creed Shadows challenges you to uncover the whereabouts of your targets through exploration and clue-following, rather than providing direct locations. However, if you're looking to streamline your search and confront the ronin swiftly, here's where you can find each Kabukimono member:

Ghost General

The Ghost General, leader of the Hungry Ghosts, is known for his voracious appetite and leads a gang that devours everything in their path. Follow the clues to Sakai, in the southwestern part of the Izumi Settsu region. Head to the western part of the city to the Money Changer District, where you'll find the Ghost General. Given the numbers against you, it's wise to take out the ronin one by one or leverage Yasuke’s strength to level the playing field.

Grave Dancer

The Grave Dancer leads the Defilers, a group that respects nothing, not even the sanctity of the dead. To find him, travel northeast from Sakai along the main road until you reach the Sumiyoshi Shrine, south of Osaka. Here, amidst the graves, you'll encounter the Grave Dancer. Dispatch him to his final resting place using the Hidden Blade or any weapon of your choice.

Ember

The Ember, head of the Firebrands, is intent on purging the world with fire. To confront him, head north from Sakai into Osaka, towards the Fishermen’s District. Further north, you'll find burned-down buildings where the Ember resides. Exercise caution in this environment, clear out other combatants first, and extinguish his destructive flame to save countless lives.

Big Sueki

Big Sueki, a lover of sake, leads a gang that has traded honor for indulgence. To end their revelry, travel to Muko Post Town, just north of Amagasaki Castle in the western part of Izumi Settsu. Near the moat, you'll find them. Use the surrounding bamboo and thickets for a stealthy approach and deliver your own brand of justice.

Chief Cuckoo

Once honorable, the Chief Cuckoo and his followers have fallen into disrepute, now harassing the peasantry. To stop them, head to Katano in the central part of Izumi Settsu. At the southern edge of the town, you'll find the Katano Oil Trading location, where the Chief Cuckoo is stationed. Utilize the environment to your advantage and bring this villain to a fiery end.

Corrupt Blade/Laughing Man/Peacock

After dealing with the other Kabukimono members, you'll face the final three: Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock. Head to the Nishinomiya Shrine, west of Amagasaki Castle, where you'll have the option to confront them individually or together. Opting for the latter will save time. From the shrine, travel west to Kakogawa Estuary, then northeast to Takagi Otsuka Fort. Continue east to find the trio in a courtyard beside a medium-sized hut. This battle will be challenging, but you won't be alone. Use the NPCs to distract the enemies and strike when the opportunity arises. Eliminate all three to eradicate the Kabukimono threat once and for all.
