Digimon enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting new addition to the franchise! During DIGIMON CON 2025, Bandai Namco unveiled their latest project, Digimon Alysion, a new mobile trading card game (TCG) that promises to bring the thrill of Digimon battles to your fingertips. This announcement comes on the heels of successful mobile TCGs like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap, signaling Digimon's ambition to capture a larger TCG audience through mobile gaming.

Digimon Alysion is set to be a free-to-play digital TCG where players can collect cards featuring various Digimon and characters from the franchise, build their decks, and engage in battles with other players. What sets Digimon Alysion apart is its inclusion of an in-depth story mode, offering players a narrative-driven experience alongside the traditional and competitive gameplay options.

A new trailer showcased snippets of gameplay and introduced an all-female cast speculated to be part of the story mode. The new characters include Kanata Hondo, Futre, and Valner Dragnogh, alongside a new Digimon called Gemmon. While an official release date hasn't been announced, Bandai has planned a closed beta test, with more details to follow.
