PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!

The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, on August 30, the developers announced that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for those in the United States.

Fans had the opportunity to participate in the Alpha Test through several channels:

• Watching Delta Force Twitch Streams to receive Twitch Drops

Additionally, their official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes for special occasions and milestones.

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

Delta Force confirmed a new date for the delayed Alpha test on August 6, 2024. Fans could try their luck at securing a spot through the official website, the official Steam page, or by obtaining keys through Twitch drops and various giveaways. One notable giveaway was posted on their official Twitter/X account, where 100 lucky winners received codes for the Alpha test.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

From the pre-alpha test held from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical errors that disrupted gameplay for the limited group of participants. As a result, they had to postpone the planned July Alpha test to work on fixes and ensure an optimal gaming experience.

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Delta Force was initially set to hold its Alpha Test starting July 18, with no specified end date at the time. Fans could try to gain access via the official website by completing player surveys, requesting access on the official Steam page, or by watching content creators on Twitch.tv to earn Steam keys through Twitch Drops.

It's worth noting that a pre-alpha test ran from July 11 to 15, allowing a small subset of players to stress test the game before the main Alpha Test. Requesting access through all available avenues could have potentially granted early access.

The Alpha Test was exclusively for PC, accessible through the game's official client or Steam. Access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not available during the alpha phase.
