Facing the Congalala requires constant movement due to its size and agility. Avoid positioning yourself directly in front or behind the beast to minimize the impact of its potent breath attacks. The Congalala can also perform powerful smashes with its hands, whip its tail, and use ranged breath attacks.

Focus your attacks on its breakable parts for increased damage. Targeting the forelegs is advisable as they often leave the Congalala vulnerable for a few seconds. For the head, tail, and rear, wait for the beast to consume a mushroom, which is clearly visible, and then strike when it expels gas from its front or rear. If you avoid the gas, you can attack these parts safely.

If you get hit by the fumes, use deodorant or roll through water to neutralize the effects. Exploit the wounds you cause by using Focus Mode and Focus Strikes to deliver heavy damage, effectively countering breath attacks or ground smashes.
