Latest Deadlock update rebalances new heroes and nerf overall damage
Valve's commitment to Deadlock continues, even without a rigid update schedule. The latest patch isn't a huge overhaul, but it's far from insignificant, bringing substantial changes. A complete changelog is available on the official forums.

Following the January 18th introduction of four new heroes, swift balance adjustments arrived. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown when doing so. Calico's Ava ability gains the power to destroy objects during its activation.
Existing heroes also received attention. Kelvin's health is boosted from 600 to 650, while Vendicta's bullet speed is reduced from 810 to 740, and her movement speed from nine to eight. In total, eleven heroes, including the newcomers, have received targeted balance tweaks.
Deadlock remains in closed beta, boasting a healthy and consistent online player base of 7,000 to 20,000 players.
