Levelling Up – Every champion in DC: Dark Legion, no matter their rarity, can be levelled up to boost their base stats, including Attack, Defense, and Health. You can level up your champions by taking them into battles where they'll earn experience. Alternatively, you can use EXP potions of various rarities to level them up directly. Levelling up not only enhances your champion's power but also increases your overall account CP (Combat Power).

Upgrading Star Count – Each champion in DC: Dark Legion™ starts with a base star count that determines their rarity. For instance, legendary champions begin at 5-stars. You can increase this star count by using shards of the same champion, which means you'll need to get duplicate copies. This can be a costly process and might not be the best choice for new, free-to-play players. However, it's a fantastic way to unlock new abilities and boost your hero's stats.

Gearing Up – Beyond levelling up, you can enhance your heroes' performance by equipping them with powerful gear. In the early stages, you can acquire gear by clearing hideouts. Once you unlock crafting at your base, you can start making your own gear. Gear pieces and sets come in different rarities, each offering main stats and sub-stats. Higher rarity gear will have more sub-stats right from the start, making them more valuable.
