Days Gone Remastered roars onto PlayStation 5, boasting a suite of exciting new features. Announced during Sony's February 2025 State of Play, this enhanced edition delivers a revitalized post-apocalyptic experience.

Beyond visual upgrades such as VRR and PS5 Pro support, Days Gone Remastered introduces a permadeath mode, a speedrun mode, an improved photo mode, and expanded accessibility options. A standout addition is Horde Assault, a thrilling arcade mode challenging players with unprecedented Freaker hordes.

This release marks another step in Sony's initiative to bring enhanced PS4 titles to the PS5. Joining other upgraded releases like The Last of Us Part I and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Days Gone Remastered promises a significantly improved experience.

PC players aren't left out. Sony offers the $10 Broken Roads DLC, providing access to the new modes, enhanced photo mode, DualSense support (where applicable), and the accessibility features.

A recent PlayStation.Blog post revealed further details. Bend Studio built this version from the ground up for PS5, offering Performance and Quality modes. PS5 Pro users will experience superior visuals and audio. DualSense features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are fully utilized.
