Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with a series of exciting updates, including the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the debut of a new character type called Eidols. This month, the game also celebrates its powerful female characters, giving players a chance to influence an upcoming Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and a compelling new storyline. You can recruit Jean Grey to your roster starting March 13th, with Bastion joining on March 27th. Before their arrivals, the Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling against dangerous variants in a thrilling new quest.

The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions will further expand with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, will be available from March 5th until June 4th.

Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, is a master infiltrator with the ability to spy, sabotage, and assassinate with unmatched precision. Made of ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix possesses remarkable light manipulation abilities. While it dazzles with its performance, it's a lethal weapon designed to eliminate enemies while remaining undetected.

March also marks a celebration of the powerful women in The Contest. Kabam has collaborated with seven female developers and content creators, each representing a different Champion. Players can participate in Solo Objectives and Realm Events to decide which Champion will be reworked in 2025.
