Clash of Clans is preparing for a massive update in March 2025, addressing long-standing player requests. This update marks one of the most significant changes in the game's history, phasing out several features.

No More Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Times!

Get ready for back-to-back attacks without the wait! This update eliminates training times for troops, spells, and siege machines, creating a faster-paced battle experience. Hero recovery time is also gone, keeping your heroes in the fight. This change applies to Titan League and below; the Legend League retains its eight-battle daily limit for now.

This significant overhaul reflects Clash of Clans' ongoing effort to streamline outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times removes artificial barriers to gameplay.

Adjustments to Accompany the Changes:

With these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats become obsolete. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining potions and treats in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

Introducing the New Match Anytime System!

A new Match Anytime system ensures continuous gameplay. When real bases are unavailable, this system allows you to attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles function like normal attacks, providing loot and trophies without impacting the defender's resources. Already used in Clan Wars and Legend League, this system now extends to multiplayer battles.

Further Tweaks:

To balance the increased battle frequency, the number of trophies earned per victory is being adjusted. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized to 10 minutes for all players.
