Why Dice Break in Citizen Sleeper 2

Stress is the primary culprit. Failing actions or experiencing starvation increases stress, leading to dice breakage. Each die withstands three hits before requiring repair.

How to Repair Dice in Citizen Sleeper 2

Early game dice damage on Hexport can't be immediately fixed. Repair becomes possible upon reaching Far Spindle and meeting Bliss, who unlocks the Rig Workshop on your ship. Access the workshop during non-Contract periods to choose between two repair methods:

Improvised Repairs vs. Dice Repair

Improvised Repair: Costs 2 Scrap Components, fixes one die, but increases the Glitch meter, raising the risk of a glitched die.

Dice Repair: Requires 1 Rare Component (harder to find), adds less to the Glitch meter. Generally preferred if affordable. Late game, Rare Components become more accessible.

Can You Repair Glitched Dice?

Glitched dice (20% positive, 80% negative outcome) might appear, depending on difficulty. While there's no direct repair method, a story event after the "Diagnose Your Frame" drive fixes a single glitched die. Don't despair!
