You'll control a variety of characters, known as "Chasers," which you unlock as you progress, thanks to the game's absence of a gacha system. Combat mechanics are typical of modern ARPGs, with unique ability executions. During battles, you'll notice two bars at the bottom of the screen: your Health Points (HP) and Energy bar. Your HP indicates your current health; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and can no longer fight.

The Energy bar shows your current energy level, which is consumed by your Chasers' abilities. This energy regenerates over time or can be quickly restored by using Energy drones found in dungeons. Movement is controlled via a virtual movement wheel, or for a more efficient experience on PC, you can use BlueStacks with keyboard and mouse controls. A unique feature in the game is the "Elphis" magic, allowing Chasers to use their abilities without consuming energy. This acts as a turbo mode, enabling you to focus on executing damage combos and annihilating enemies. When your Elphis bar is full, it glows blue, signaling readiness for activation.
